Why I Keep This Class Small

Most certifications are built to scale. More students, more revenue, same content delivered to a bigger room.

That's not what this is.

The Polished Method intensive takes a small group — and that's not a limitation. It's the whole point.

You can't learn judgment in a crowd.

Technique can be taught to a room of thirty. You demonstrate, they watch, they practice on a mannequin, they go home with notes.

Judgment can't be taught that way. Judgment requires real-time feedback — someone watching your hands, seeing exactly where the tension is off, telling you why the bead needs to move half a centimeter before you crimp it. You can't get that when there are twenty other people waiting for the same attention.

A small class means every person in the room gets that. Not a general demo. Specific, in-the-moment correction that actually changes how you work.

The goal is for you to leave able to do this. Not just aware of it.

There's a difference between leaving a class knowing what an extension install looks like and leaving knowing how to do one.

A large class gives you awareness. A small one gives you ability — because your hands are actually in hair for most of the two days, not waiting for your turn.

That's what we're after. Not the feeling of having learned something — the actual ability.

This is also why we require the online course first.

If everyone walks in already knowing the structure and the why, we don't waste a single in-person hour on orientation. Every minute is hands-on.

That only works with a small group where we can actually track where each person is and adjust in real time. A bigger room makes that impossible.

There are a limited number of seats for a reason.

Not as a marketing tactic. Because more than a handful of people in the room means less time per person, less feedback, less of what actually makes this work.
